How Does Consignment PCB Assembly Work？
- The customer provides the PCBA manufacturer with PCB files, BOM and bare circuit boards/components, etc. The PCB files and BOM are used to confirm the accuracy of the component placement orientation and the materials used.
- Then, the PCBA manufacturer inspects and processes the materials from the customer. IPQC inspection of the customer’s material is performed to ensure the quality of the material. Some components need material processing, such as component molding, etc.
- The next step is the production process on the production line. The first sample will be made, and mass production will be carried out after both the manufacturer and the customer confirm that there is no error. During the process, the fabrication of the stencil, solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, and other processes will be carried out. In addition, testing, packaging, and delivery follow closely.
